About Us

Daar-us-Sunnah, Lalpora

Daar-us-Sunnah Lalpora is a markaz upon the Qur’ān and the authentic Sunnah, grounded firmly upon the understanding of the Salaf-us-Ṣāliḥ. It calls to pure Tawḥīd, adherence to the prophetic way, and the rejection of all forms of innovation, seeking to revive the religion as it was understood by the earliest generations of this Ummah.

Our Call
Our da‘wah is founded upon the following principles and practices:

  1. Tawḥīd (Islāmic Monotheism)
    • Affirming the oneness of Allāh in His Lordship, worship, and Names and Attributes.
    • Rejecting every manifestation of shirk, whether through invocation of others besides Allāh, seeking intercession via intermediaries, or excessive veneration of the creation.

  2. Adherence to the Qur’ān and Sunnah
    • Holding fast to the Book of Allāh and the authentic Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ as the ultimate sources of guidance.
    • Understanding them upon the way of the Ṣaḥābah, Tābi‘ūn, and Atbā‘ al-Tābi‘īn — the best generations of this Ummah.

  3. Rejection of Innovations (Bid‘ah)
    • Warning against any newly invented matters in religion.
    • Preserving Islām in its original, pure form as practiced by the Prophet ﷺ and his companions.

  4. Purity of ‘Aqīdah (Creed)
    • Teaching the sound creed established by clear proofs from the Qur’ān and Sunnah.
    • Refuting theological errors and deviations from the path of the Salaf.

  5. Fiqh Based on Evidence
    • Deriving rulings directly from the Qur’ān and Sunnah, giving precedence to evidence over blind following of any particular school of thought.

  6. Moral and Ethical Rectification
    • Cultivating noble character, sincerity, humility, and truthfulness.
    • Enjoining modesty, justice, and all good manners prescribed in Islām.

  7. Avoidance of Extremes
    • Steering clear of both negligence in religion and excessive extremism, walking the balanced and moderate path (al-wasaṭiyyah).

  8. Education and Da‘wah
    • Calling to Islām with clarity, knowledge, and wisdom.
    • Promoting the learning of Arabic to access the Qur’ān and Sunnah in their original form.

  9. Connection to the Scholars
    • Recognizing the scholars as the inheritors of the prophets, preserving and clarifying the dīn.
    • Remaining linked to the people of knowledge for guidance, unity, and steadfastness upon the methodology of the Salaf.

  10. Unity Upon the Truth
    • Building bonds of brotherhood upon the correct understanding of Islām.
    • Opposing partisanship and division, and warning against those who introduce alien beliefs or practices into the religion.

We seek to nurture an environment where these principles are lived, taught, and preserved — by the permission of Allāh. May He grant us sincerity, firmness upon the truth, and acceptance of our efforts
